CDS connectors and others CW29/2017

Hello Everyone,

As explained previously, ABAP CDS-based search models will be released on NW 7.52 or NW 7.69 using  HANA 2.0 SPS01 and it will replace the classical models.

If you want to use Embedded Search that provides and uses ABAP CDS-based search models, execute the following configuration steps instead of the default configuration steps:

There already are some corrections available :

2499000 – CDS: Consistency check for inactive connectors

2501245 – CDS: No search results are displayed in the SAP Fiori UI

2501242 – CDS: Input help does not display all existing values

2502677 – CDS: Snippets are not displayed in SAP Fiori UI

Now let’s come back to the actual SAP Enterprise Search functionalities. So there are some small corrections related to transport and import process :

2498919 – Transport of node fields in customer systems

2502234 – Dump during maintenance of relations

2377893 – SNOTE: Reset import status of import log and client-copy

included an important correction for import process from client 000 in SAP note 2490483 – ES Fetch model data from client 000
