Define Process Instruction Categories
Purpose: define the process instruction categories you want to use in plant. For each instruction category, you specifyThe process
instruction type to which it pertains
1 Process parameter-
2 Process data request- process data request contains the process message category to use for the process message
3 Process message subscription- Process message subscriptions contain the following:
Message category to use
-
-
-
- Contents of the message
-
-
4 Process data calculation formula-
Type of process instruction that specifies that a value must be calculated in the PI sheet. This value is then sent to a destination using a process message. The process data specifies:
Value to calculate
Formula to use for calculation
Message category of the requested process message
5 Inspection results request-Process instruction that specifies the operations and phases for which inspection
results must be recorded. For these operations and phases, the function for
recording inspection results can be accessed directly from the PI sheet.
6 Dynamic function call-A process instruction that enables the process operator to call a user-defined
function module from the PI sheet.
