I cannot believe that it is almost time for me to get on a plane for the Mastering SAP Technologies Conference March 22-24 in Sydney, Australia.  The conference will have 54 sessions covering topics such as Solution Manager, UI, Security, Archiving, Portals, Dev tools, to name a few, as well as workshops for Web Dynpro ABAP, BOBJ, Enhancement Packs and BPM.  On Sunday, there will also be a SAP Inside Track event to jumpstart the conference.

I will not just be attending the conference, I will also be giving 2 presentations:

The Evolution of Information Lifecycle Management

and

Find Out How US Companies are Influencing SAP in User Interface

Another benefit of attending the conference is being able to get together with the SAP Mentors that will also be there; Graham Robinson, Tony de Thomasis, Thomas Jung, Gretchen Lindquist, Ingo Hilgefort and me.

I will also get a chance to meet some Australian Twitter friends such as

Matt Harding (I actually met Matt last year at SAP TechEd Phoenix), Neil Gardiner and Martin English.

There have also been blogs about this event from SAP Inside Track Sydney, Australia 2010 and Pre SAP InsideTrack Australia 2010.

After the conference, I will be heading down to Melbourne to visit The Australia Post and meet with Tony de Thomasis and the AusPost Basis team to discuss all things SAP Basis related.

Now, my trip to Australia isn’t going to be all business :-).  I will also be getting a chance to

visit the Taronga Zoo

do the Sydney Bridge Climb (and hope I survive)

and visit The Great Barrier Reef.

I am very excited about this amazing experience and looking forward to my adventure “Down Under”.
