Public Sector Budget Specialists’ life made easier by new FIORI apps

SAP continues to invest to improve user experience for its public sector S/4 HANA users so that they can perform their daily tasks in a more convenient and efficient way. In fact, after providing Fiori applications for the Budget Responsible we now provide a set of Fiori applications for the Budget Specialist.

The new apps provided with SAP S/4HANA 1709 support the expert users who know detailed regulations and guidelines for budget structuring and budget processing, maintain master data and budget amounts in compliance with the regulations, support the “budget responsible” role in monitoring and analyzing budget execution process and start corrective actions if required

The SAP Fiori launchpad for the budget specialist supports all relevant activities like:

• SAP Fiori apps for creating and maintaining 
  
• budgetary master data
  
• SAP Fiori apps for managing budget transfers
• SAP Fiori apps allowing a quick overview of the  budget for reporting purposes (My Budget Over view and My Budget Alerts apps) and the
• SAP Fiori app for deeper analysis of the underlying data –
  the Commitments and Actuals Analyses

The Commitments and Actuals Analyses app enables you to analyze the commitment and actual postings that occur in funds management areas. You may analyze the data via various dimensions like fund, funds center and functional area, and measures. You can summarize and then drill down from a summary into details as well as have an analytical view using flexible chart options.
