Train-the-Trainer workshop on Introduction to SAP ERP (GBI 2.40), Mongolia from 29 August to 2 September 2016
The Business School of the National University of Mongolia, an active SAP University Alliances member since 2013, hosted the 5-day Train-the-Trainer (TTT) Workshop on “Introduction to SAP ECC 6.0 EHP7 on GBI 2.40”. The workshop was sponsored by GIZ Mongolia and held from Monday August 29 to Friday September 2. It was conducted by Dr S. Vijayakumar Bharathi, Professor, Symbiosis Centre for Information Technology, Symbiosis International University, Pune, India.
18 participants represented by academia and industry were trained. The academia included National University of Mongolia, Legal Enforcement University of Mongolia, Otgontenger University and the German-Mongolian Institute of Technology. The industry was represented by GIZ Mongolia and GIZ Head Office.
The participants were also introduced to SAP S/4HANA and Big Data Analytics using GBI Sales Monitor case study. The participants were also given an overview on openSAP, SAP Learning Hub, Academic and Student editions, and openHPI. The workshop was well received with active involvement from the participants and invoked a healthy deliberation about adoption of SAP curricula in Mongolian universities.
The Workshop was formally inaugurated by Dr Stefan Hanselmann, Program Director IMRI, GIZ Mongolia and Dr Burmaa Natsag, Head of Department of Public Administration School of International Relations, National University of Mongolia.

In addition, we also like to thank Dr S. Vijayakumar Bharathi for being such a wonderful faculty who so willingly shared his knowledge of SAP including the latest SAP S/4HANA with the faculties in Mongolia.
