TREX Settings and Import process CW34/2016
Recently we have released few notes related to TREX settings. There is a script that you can use to check that TREX conforms to these recommendations; this is attached to the note 2227741 – TREX 710: check of the TREX settings for the Enterprise/embedded Search scenario
You have to execute script check_esh.py. For further help how to execute this script, you can check KBA 2344042.

Two important notes 2225294 and 2225542 for Software Component import should be implemented in your system to avoid known issues if a defective software component stack is determined during posting.

which solves a specific error “Import failed – category: EAM_ORDNTF_OBJECTS in the software component: SAP_APPL”.
