Configuration Of a Central Integration Server.

Configuration of Central Integration Server is important for making Integration Server to work.

Once the SAP-XI is installed to make system is ready to work we need to check all these settings, done during the post installation.

If anything is missed out, we can set again so that the integration server supports the adapters.

Moreover this configuration of integration server is very important for Proxies. Queues Registration is very important for processing of messages.

Make sure that integration server is registered in System Landscape Directory prior to configuring the integration server.

1.System Landscape—> Technical System.

2.Further more, ensure that you created the following fixed RFC Destinations.

a. AI_DIRECTORY_JCOSERVER type T ( SM59)

b. AI_RUNTIME_JCOSERVER type T ( SM59 )

c. INTEGRATION_DIRECTORY_HMI type H ( SM59 )

Note: Always use user : XIISUSER.

1.Configuring the Role of the Integration Server

The integration server is configured as a central integration engine and is not able to execute application logic.

For this purpose check all parameter default values .

a.Transaction SXMB_ADM  > Configuration>Integration Engine Configuration –> Specific Configuration.
