Diagrams for Job Scheduling Management

The Job Scheduling Management Work Center eases Monitoring Job Chains with SAP CPS by Redwood and SAP Solution Manager of your background processing by collecting the relevant job data on demand either from the managed SAP system or from SAP CPS by Redwood, your central Job Scheduling tool.

The results were previously displayed in a table only.

Now it’s also possible to generate different diagram type from this information.

Availability:

As of Support Package 21 of SAP Solution Manager. No configuration required.

The screenshot below show how to access the diagram for SAP CPS jobs.

Please do not forget the set the isolation group (IG) to GLOBAL manually if the value help does not return any value (IG output is supresssed if there’s only one IG. however IG is always required as input parameter)

The screenshot belows show access for jobs scheduled via teh CCMS scheduler,i.e. SM36 and BC-XBP jobs.

Available diagram types:

• Pie Chart
• Bar Chart
• Stacked Bar Chart

Available key figures:

• runtime categories,e .g.<1 minutes or<10 minutes
• user
• job class
• job status
• start delay

Examples:

Pie Chart – Number of jobs per user

Bar chart – Number of jobs per time category

Bar chart – Number of jobs per status
